Taiwan: Walsin Lihwa raises 300 series stainless steel wire rod prices for Nov’24

Walsin Lihwa, a Taiwanese stainless steel wire rod manufacturer, has raised prices for its 300 series stainless steel wire rod by NT$2,500/t ($78/t) for Nov’24. While surcharges for 316 products remain unchanged, rising production costs, driven by high nickel prices and increased electricity costs, prompted the producer to raise 300 series product prices.
