Balco, one of India’s leading aluminium producers, raised prices of its primary aluminium P1020 (99.7%) ingots by INR 1,750/t ($20/t), effective 30 Oct’24. Balco’s new prices are at INR 261,000/t ($3,103/t), up from INR 259,250/t ($3,082/t) on 26 Oct. All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,670/t.
