India: NMDC to auction over 250,000 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh

NMDC will auction 252,500 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh on 25 Oct’24:

• Kirandul: 43,000-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• Bacheli: 21,500-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%), 172,000-t fines (Fe 64%) and 16,000-t Baila-sized lump (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• In its 14 Oct’24 auction, 21,500 t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) were booked at INR 8,592/t, 38,500 t fines (Fe 64%) at INR 5,050/t from Bacheli, 12,900 t Kirandul ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%) at INR 5,520/t.
