Balco, one of India’s leading aluminium producers, raised prices of its primary aluminium P1020 (99.7%) ingots by INR 2,750/t ($33/t), effective 19 Oct’24. Balco’s revised prices were at INR 255,000/t ($3,033t), up from INR 252,250/t ($3,000/t) on 18 Oct’24. All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,613/t.
