India: ESL hikes long steel prices by upto INR 1,000/t ($12/t)

ESL Steel Ltd. has raised long steel prices by up to INR 1,000/t ($12/t), sources informed BigMint. Post-revision, prices are as follows:

• Rebar (12-32 mm, IS1786): INR 54,000-54,500/t ($642-648/t)
• Wire rod (5.5-6 mm, SAE1008): INR 58,500/t ($696/t)

Prices are landed NCR, excluding GST at 18%.
