Tokyo Steel Corporation plans to open a new scrap yard, the “Tokyo Bay Satellite Yard”, in Funabashi City, Chiba, in May-Jun’25. This facility aims to collect 20,000 t of scrap steel monthly, enhancing options for Kanto region dealers and supporting domestic recycling. It will be the company’s third satellite yard and enable Tokyo Steel to reach its 6 mnt production goal by 2030.
