Pig Iron markets in India have been stable for last few weeks. Industry traders said that the major producers might keep prices unchanged for October.
Meanwhile, officials at NINL (India's largest producer) said that they have decided to focus on sales in domestic market as offers from international market is quite low.
“Pig Iron prices in India is stable in the range of Rs 24,000-25,000/t ($435-460/t , Ex-Works). Big producers like NINL and RINL might hold offers and wait for good demand”, said a senior official at a big steel plant.
