Indian import offers for South African iron ore lumps (Fe 64%) rose by $4.5/t w-o-w to $114.5/t CNF Kandla on 16 Oct’24 due to restocking activity and improved demand in China post-holidays as per sources. However, Indian buyers remained on the sidelines amid competitive domestic pellet offers. Spot prices of iron ore (Fe 62%) fines remained stable w-o-w at $105/t CFR China on 15 Oct.
