India: Over 200,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka will auction around 215,000 t of iron ore.

• SMIORE: 11,000 t lumps (5-40 mm, Fe 56.50-57.20%) and 16,000 t fines (Fe 54.10-56.50%) on 18 Oct’24. Floor prices of lumps and fines are 4,680-5,090/t and 2,860-3,320/t, respectively.
• KSMCL: 140,000 t fines (Fe 62.22-63.31%) and 48,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 65.06%) from Subbrayanahalli on 25 Oct’24. Floor prices of fines and lumps are INR 3,733-3,799/t and INR 4,785/t, respectively.

SMIORE’s prices include taxes, while KSMCL’s excludes.
