Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has raised the base price for its Oct’24 auction of 33,500 t chrome ore, with a 14-24% increase for 42-54% grades. The rise of INR 2,390-4,880 m-o-m 42-54% grades might be linked to reduced availability and a 4% ferro chrome m-o-m price hike, as per the 11th October assessment.
