Hindalco and Balco, India’s primary producers, reduced aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 7,250/t ($86/t) today, compared to 13 Oct’24. Post-revision, prices stood at INR 254,000/t ($3,021/t) for Hindalco and INR 256,000/t ($3,045/t) for Balco. All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME were at $2,557/t.
