India: Domestic Zinc, lead prices drop w-o-w

India’s domestic zinc and lead ingot prices fell by up to INR 1,700/t ($20/t) w-o-w, following a 4% drop in LME futures. Hindustan Zinc Limited’s (HZL) prices also decreased for zinc and lead by 1%. Zinc prices stood at INR 286,000/t ($3,401/t), while demand remained firm. Lead radio scrap offers from Europe stood at 95% LME CIF West Coast and lead scrap 1% from Australia was at 96% LME prices CIF Chennai.
