Balco, one of India’s leading aluminium producers, raised prices of its primary aluminium P1020 (99.7%) ingots by INR 2,000/t ($24/t), effective 5 Oct’24. Balco’s revised prices were at INR 263,750/t ($3,138t), up from INR 261,750/t ($3,115/t) on 2 Oct’24. All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,633/t.
