Tripura Government Issues Tenders for Purchase of 8,000 MT TMT

Rural Development Department (RDD), Govt. of Tripura, has invited 4 different tenders for purchase of 8,000 MT TMT, 525 MT MS angle, 60 MT MS heavy coating galvanized iron wire and 6,000 MT galvanized steel sheet.

Specification of items:

1. TMT:

i) ISI marked TMT bars- IS:1786:2008, along with latest revision and amendment if any
ii) Fe- 500D
iii) Required size and quantity- 8mm- 2,800 MT, 10mm- 2,000 MT, 12mm- 1,400 MT, 16mm- 400 MT, 20mm- 700 MT, 25mm- 700 MT

2. M.S. angle:

i) ISI marked- IS 2062-2011, along with latest revision and amendment if any
ii) Length- 40x40x5 mm

3. M.S. heavy coating GI wire:

i) ISI marked- IS 280-2006, along with latest revision and amendment if any
ii) Diameter- 4.06 mm

4. Galvanized steel sheet:

i) ISI marked- IS 14246-1995, along with latest revision and amendment if any

Eligibility criteria

1. Bidders should be an Indian manufacturer and must have registered with BIS for production of above mentioned products

2. Bidder should not be blacklisted by DGS & D/state govt./BIS/agencies regarding quality compromise or other reason as on closing date of tender.
