Bangladesh: Thermal coal imports hit 7-month low in Sep’24

Bangladesh’s thermal coal import volumes decreased by 43% to 0.72 mnt in Sep’24 from 1.27 mnt in Aug’24, as per customs data maintained with BigMint.
Imports fell to a 7-month low, as these levels were last seen in Feb’24.
Indonesia remained the largest exporter with 0.56 mnt supplied, followed by South Africa with 0.17 mnt.
