South Africa’s iron ore exports edged up by 2% to 5.01 mnt in Sep’24 compared to 4.91 mnt in Aug, as per vessel line-up data maintained by BigMint.
China was the largest importer (1.59 mnt), followed by South Korea (0.73 mnt).
Kumba was the leading exporter at 2.57 mnt, an increase of 1% m-o-m, followed by Assmang at 1.58 mnt.
