India: NMDC’s iron ore production drops by 11% y-o-y in H1FY’25

NMDC recorded its output at 17.47 mnt in H1FY’25 (Apr-Sep’24), down by 11% y-o-y as against 19.56 mnt in H1FY’24.
Iron ore sales also decreased by 4% y-o-y to 19.80 mnt in H1FY’25 as against 20.55 mnt in the year-ago period.
Production volumes inched down by 1% m-o-m to 3.04 mnt in Sep’24 as against 3.07 mnt in Aug’24.
