Taiwan: Walsin Lihwa raises prices of stainless steel wire rods for Oct’24 sales

Walsin Lihwa, Taiwan’s largest stainless steel wire manufacturer, has raised prices of its 300 series stainless steel wire rods by TWD 950/t ($30/t) for Oct’24 sales due to currency appreciation, as per SteelDaily. Additionally, the company has rolled over prices of the 200, 300, and 400 series and imposed surcharges on the 316 series and steel welding rods. Market confidence has improved amid US and Chinese stimulus measures.
