Taiwan: CSC’s steel sales remain stable y-o-y in Jan-Aug’24

China Steel Corporation (CSC), Taiwan’s leading steelmaker, reported that its steel sales volume in Jan-Aug’24 remained largely stable at 5.209 mnt against 5.173 mnt in Jan-Aug’23. Moreover, in Aug’24, sales volume held steady m-o-m at 628,927 t but declined 10.9% y-0-y from 705,951 t in Aug’23.
