Vizag Steel floated an export tender of 30,000 tons steel grade Pig Iron on the 20th of September.
“Pig Iron prices in international market have reduced. Offers in Southeast Asian countries such as Taiwan and Korea slipped by $10-15/t to $425/t. Hence, the tender might fetch lower bids.
Buyers might not be interested to lift material from Indian exporters as prices in Ukraine and Russia stand in the range of $420-425/t.
They might be ready to purchase the material below $400/t as last couple of deals of the same quantity were concluded at $410/t FOB Vizag Port”, said market participants.
