Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is the India’s largest steelmaker and produces a variety of steel and iron products, has invited a tender for appointment of a conversion agent from bonafide, resourceful firm/company capable of converting 1,000 MT of semi finished steel material into heavy and medium structural.
Material and there sizes after conversion is required as:
1. Channel: 400×100 mm & 200×75 mm
2. Joist: 500×180 mm & 600×210 mm
3. H beam: 150×150 mm & 200×200 mm.
Bidders who have conversion facility in Ghaziabad and adjoining districts like Meerut, Baghpat, Gautam Budh Nagar, Jyotiba Phule Nagar & Bulandhsahar will be eligible to apply in this tender.
Contract period
The tenure of the contract will be valid for a period of 3 years from the date of commencement of work mentioned in issued work order.
Eligibility criteria
1. Bidder should have a valid Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) license for manufacture of heavy and medium steel structural materials.
2. Bidder needs to submit the copy of Income Tax Returns with acknowledgment and Audit Financial Statement (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account).
3. Bidder needs to submit the current dated Banker’s Certificate.
4. The minimum average annual turnover of the bidder should be INR 1 crore and net worth should be positive.
5. The mills should be operational. Non-operational mills will not be considered.
6. Bidder whose contract has been terminated and who have blacklisted, shall not be considered eligible.
