India: Over 700,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka is set to auction 708,202 t of iron ore.

• NMDC Kumaraswamy: 144,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 60.96-63.91%) and 128,000 t of fines (Fe 55.13-61.35%) on 27 Sep’24.
• SMIORE: 43,000 t of lumps (5-40 mm, Fe 55.50-59.10%) on 28 Sep’24. Base price has been set at INR 4,020-4,960/t.
• KSMCL: 140,000 t of fines (Fe 62.22-63.31%) on 4 Oct’24. 146,202 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 45.69-59.31%) and 107,000 t of fines ( Fe 52.39-52.88%) on 5 Oct’24.
