Balco, one of India’s leading aluminium producers, has cut prices of its primary aluminium P1020 (99.7%) ingots by INR 2,500/t ($30/t), effective from 24 Sep’24. Balco’s new prices are at INR 244,250/t ($2,920/t), down from INR 246,750/t ($2,950/t) on 21 Sep. All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,557/t.
