Few bulk cargoes were being heard sold at
lower prices in Turkey from last traded offers. Around 25,000 MT of HMS 1&2
(80:20) and shredded scrap was sold at $365/MT CFR and $370/MT CFR
respectively, down from last traded price of $370/MT CFR and $375/MT CFR
respectively.
Turkish mills have booked at least 5 Deep Sea
cargoes earlier this week. Domestic
scrap is now hovering at $323-393/MT for all grades, down by $20/MT from beginning
of last week.
Market source feel that Turkish buyers are likely
to return in the market in the coming days with improved orders. But they are
unlikely to pay higher prices.
