Hindalco, one of India’s leading aluminium producers, reduced prices of its primary aluminium P1020 (99.7%) ingots by INR 2,000/t ($24/t), effective from 24 Sep’24. Hindalco’s new prices stood at INR 242,250/t ($2,896/t), down from INR 244,250/t ($2,920/t) on 21 Sep. All prices were ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,518/t.
