Billet: Producers in India find it difficult to make good sales

Billet prices witness some upward trend from last two days in the range of Rs 100-300/MT in various locations of the country.

“Prices have not moved up due to good trading volumes. Production cut and other factors such as high input cost have forced us to increase Billet prices”, said manufacturers.

Whatever limited trades are taking place are at Rs 200-300/MT below the trading prices we are quoting and we are not hopeful of an improved market scenario this week”, they added.
