India: Over 60,000 t of iron ore booked from NMDC Chhattisgarh on 17 Sep’24

NMDC Chhattisgarh’s auction on 17 Sep’24 saw bookings for 61,500 t of iron ore.

• Bacheli: 21,500 t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) booked at INR 6,776/t against base price INR 6,470/t, 30,000 t fines (Fe 64%) booked at base price INR 4,650/t, and 10,000 t Baila ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%) booked at INR 5,367/t.
• Kirandul: 43,000 t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%) remained unsold.

Prices are on FOR basis and include royalty, DMF, and NMET.
