Sponge iron export offers rose marginally w-o-w, with improved buying activity observed, particularly from Nepal. Export prices for Nepal increased slightly to around $347/t CPT Raxaul, while prices for Bangladesh saw a modest rise to $365/t CPT Benapole. However, demand from Bangladesh remained subdued. Deals of approximately 11,000 t of sponge iron were recorded, destined for both Nepal and Bangladesh.
