India: Over 45,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka is set to auction 49,000 t of iron ore in the coming days.

• SMIORE: 25,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 56-57.50%) on 14 Sep’24. Floor prices have been set at INR 4,170-4,570/t.
• Vedanta: 16,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 54%) and 8,000 t lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 53%) on 16 Sep’24. Floor prices are yet to be declared.

SMIORE’s prices include taxes, while Vedanta’s prices are exclusive of them.
