India: Hindalco, Balco raise aluminium ingot prices by up to INR 3,500/t ($42/t)

India’s primary producers increased aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 3,500/t ($42/t) today, compared to 10 Sep’24. Hindalco’s prices were at INR 234,500/t ($2,792/t), up by INR 3,500/t ($42/t). Balco’s prices were increased by INR 3,250/t ($56/t) to INR 236,500/t ($2,816/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,404/t.
