Coal India delivered 59 MnT of coal in Mar’16 out of focused 58.7 MnT. CIL saw a growth of 3% on yearly basis and 15.6% on monthly basis.
India’s greatest coal miner, CIL has produced 59 MnT of coal in Mar’16. The organization’s coal generation surged by around 2 MnT Y-o-Y and 8 MnT M-o-M. The company has accomplished target by 101%. The production target set for CIL for Mar’16 was 58.7 MnT and the CIL delivered 59.1 MnT for the month. However, it has missed its off-take target by 6% for the month.

Subsidiary-wise coal production
Four among eight subsidiaries have surpassed their production target for the month. BCCL and WCL were the performer of the month and accomplished their production target by 130% and 111%, individually. NCL and SECL were the other two that surpassed their production target.
