India’s top stainless steel coil manufacturer has announced a price hike effective from 10 September 2024, driven by rising molybdenum prices. This marked the first price increase in September after three hikes in August. Sources informed BigMint that cost of 316-grade stainless steel coils, both hot-rolled (HR) and cold-rolled (CR), has increased by INR 3,000/t ($35/t).
