India’s primary producers decreased aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 4,750/t ($56/t) today compared to 5 Sep’24. Hindalco’s prices were at INR 231,000/t ($2,750/t), down by INR 4,500/t ($53/t). Balco’s prices were reduced by INR 4,750/t ($56/t) to INR 233,250/t ($2,777/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,351/t.
