India: SAIL’s Salem plant floats 4,200 t ferro chrome purchase tender

SAIL’s Salem steel plant (SSP) has issued a purchase tender for 4,200 t of high-carbon (HC) ferro chrome (Cr: 57-63%, C: 5-8%, 10-70mm). The last date for submission of bids is 17 Sep’24 and the bid offer is valid for 60 days from the last date. BigMint assessed ferro chrome (HC60%, 10-150 mm) prices at INR 106,600/t exw-Jajpur on 6 Sep’24.
