India’s domestic and imported stainless steel scrap prices remained stable w-o-w despite a drop in LME nickel. SS304 scrap prices stood at INR 121,000/t, and SS316 at INR 220,000/t in Delhi. In the imported segment, SS304 prices stood at $1,450/t, and SS316 at $2,650/t CFR Mundra. Inquiries for imported scrap have decreased, and most mills are now sourcing scrap domestically.
