Billet producers in India raise prices up to Rs 300/MT but according to traders, most of the buyers are asking for the semi finished material at around Rs 200/MT lower than what sellers are offering.
“Billet sales was not good during September and in the start of this month, we have no bookings in good quantity”, said market players.
A trader a Mandi Gobindgarh said about furnaces to go on strike regarding e-billing on the 2nd of October and that market is expected to either stabilize or rise slightly this week.
