Ukraine: Zaporizhstal’s steel production edges down y-o-y in Aug’24

Ukrainian steel mill Zaporizhstal has released its production figures for Aug’24.

• Steel production edged down by 1.2% y-o-y to 250,800 t. Steel output decreased by 5.6% m-o-m.
• Pig iron output remained stable y-o-y at 259,500 t. However, output inched down by 1% m-o-m.
• Production of rolled products saw a 6.9% y-o-y increase to 214,200 t. Output went up by 6% m-o-m.
