India’s primary producers decreased aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 6,750/t ($80/t) today compared to 31 Aug’24. Hindalco’s prices were at INR 237,500/t ($2,829/t), down by INR 6,750/t ($80/t). Balco’s prices were reduced by INR 6,500/t ($77/t) to INR 239,500/t ($2,853/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,412/t.
