Vedanta Limited conducted an auction for 16,000 t iron ore siliceous lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 50.5-51%) from its A.Narrain mines, Karnataka on 2 Sep’24. According to sources, one lot of 8,000 t lumps got booked at INR 2,690/t while another lot of 8,000 t lumps got booked at base price of INR 2,400/t. Price is on ex-mines/ex-lot basis and exclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
