Spectro Alloys, a leading secondary foundry alloy producer based in Minnesota, the US, has a production capacity of approximately 110,000 tonnes (t)/year of aluminium ingots. Spectro Alloys has agreed to sell 80% of its shares to Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA). However, the transaction is subject to obtaining regulatory approvals. The deal is expected to close during the third quarter of 2024.
