Vedanta conducted an iron ore auction for 16,000 t of iron ore lumps from its A.Narrain Mines on 22 Aug’24. According to sources, 8,000 t lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 52.5%) got booked at base price of INR 2,900/t while 8,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 52.5%) remained unsold. Price is on ex-mines/ex-lot basis and exclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
