NMDC’s recent auction of 35,000 tons of pig iron has garnered significant interest from buyers

NMDC’s steel plant in Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh, conducted a steel-grade pig iron auction for a total of 35,000 t on 20 Aug’24. The whole quantity received bid at an average price of INR 35,100/t. Although, management approval is still pending. In the previous approved auction, held on 18 July’24, out of 40,000 t, the entire quantity had been booked at an average price of INR 36,500/t.
