India’s primary producers have increased aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 6,500/t ($77/t) today in comparison with 15 Aug’24. Balco’s prices were at INR 237,750/t ($2,835/t) and Hindalco’s prices were at INR 235,750/t ($2,811/t). All prices were ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,432/t.
