Indian secondary structure market has reported mixed sentiments this week. On one side, prices have increased in east and south India, on the other, west and central regions registered downturn movement.
Light and heavy structure prices in Durgapur and Hyderabad have gained by INR 200/MT and INR 500/MT respectively. While in Ahmedabad, Raipur and Mumbai, offers have plunged down by INR 200/MT, INR 500/MT and INR 700/MT respectively, following persistent fall in billet prices.
In a week , billet prices fell by upto INR 2,100/MT and presently hovering within INR 21,200-25,700/MT; lowest in Rourkela at INR 21,200/MT and highest in Chennai at INR 25,750/MT.
Structure angle makers are offering 100 x 100 mm material at INR 27,700/MT in Durgapur, INR 27,800/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 26,200/MT in Raipur and INR 29,500/MT in Hyderabad.
Prices of channel and beam in Ghaziabad gained by INR 300/MT at INR 30,800/MT (200 x 75 mm) and INR 30,300/MT (200 x 100 mm).
Currently, 200 x 75 mm channel is available at INR 27,700/MT in Durgapur, INR 28,000/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 29,000/MT in Mumbai and INR 26,700/MT in Raipur.
Heavy structure, 200 x 100 mm beam offers are assessed at INR 27,700/MT in Durgapur and INR 29,400/MT in Mumbai.
