Billet prices stand at same levels today in almost all the locations due to less buying activity in market.
“Demand is anticipated to be good at Mandi Gobindgarh as the primary producers of Billet have raised offers, provided rolling mills choose to end the strike. We have sold around 200-300 tons today and sales might be limited by evening”, said a trader.
“Demand of Billet is still poor in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and prices fall by Rs 200/MT to Rs 38,300/MT (Including ED)”, said another trader.
