India’s primary aluminium producer has increased ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 4,000/t ($48/t) with effect from 15 Aug’24 on comparison with 10 Aug’24 levels. Balco’s prices are at INR 231,250/t ($2,755/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,343/t.
