AM/NS India’s production, sales drop q-o-q in Q2CY’24

Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India’s (AM/NS India) crude steel production has dropped by 6% q-o-q to 1.867 mnt in Q2CY’24 as against 1.984 mnt in Q1CY’24, primarily due to planned maintenance. The company’s shipments also declined 6% on the quarter to 1.892 mnt in Q2CY’24 from 2.016 mnt in the previous quarter. On a y-o-y basis, production rose 4% and sales were up by 13% in Q2CY’24.
