India: SAIL’s crude steel production stable, sales rise y-o-y in Q1FY’25

SAIL’s crude steel production remained largely stable y-o-y at 4.68 mnt in Q1FY’25 as against 4.67 mnt in Q1FY’24. On quarterly basis, the same fell by 7% from 5.02 mnt in Q4FY’24. Sales volumes increased 3% on the year to 4.01 mnt during the quarter as compared with 3.90 mnt in the CPLY. Meanwhile, the same registered a 13% drop as against 4.60 mnt in Q4FY’24.
