Brazil: Iron ore exports rise by 24% y-o-y in Jul’24

Brazil’s iron ore exports rose by 24% y-o-y to 39.31 mnt in Jul’24 compared to 31.71 mnt in Jul’23, as per Customs data.
However, volumes increased by 18% m-o-m as against 33.21 mnt in June.
The average price of iron ore shipped from Brazil stood at $74.3/t FOB in July, down y-o-y compared to $76/t in the same month of last year.
