“Sales of Billet in the various cities of Chhattisgarh is low mainly due to issues regarding late payments.
Though, sellers are ready to offer material at Rs 200/MT low than the quoted price, it is difficult to find buyers in good numbers”, said a trader.
“Rolling mills and furnaces are running at around 50% capacity in the state due to weak demand.
Until and less, buying of re-bars and structures picks up, I am not hopeful of an improved market in October”, he added.
